I am Asian and have a nose that does not project enough. I would like a nose job to repair it. I had a nose job for a deviated septum when I was younger. Would the previous nose job affect the new correction?
The previous surgery to correct your deviated septum will not prevent you from having an aesthetic rhinoplasty, but the presence of scar tissue from the first procedure will make this rhinoplasty more complicated. It is important you choose a plastic surgeon with experience performing this type of revision. A “botched” rhinoplasty revision would be difficult to repair and only add to the amount of scar tissue present in your nose.
I have extensive experience with both rhinoplasty revisions and ethnic rhinoplasty for Asian noses. I hope you will take a look at my archive of before and after rhinoplasty photos on our website at www.rhinoplastyspecialist.com. You will also be able to find information on the website about ethnic rhinoplasty surgeries. Please forward any further questions and photos to Ana, my patient care coordinator, at email@example.com. I would be happy to evaluate them and work with you to develop the best treatment plan to address your cosmetic concerns.
