I keep seeing before and after pictures of people of all different races and it sparked my interest to learn a little bit more about Asian rhinoplasty since I’m from Vietnam. How does the anatomy of the nose of an Asian differ from that of people of other races?
Although there are many ethnicities under the term “Asian”, it is safe to say that many of these elasticities share common traits. For instance, Asian skin on the nose is generally thicker and oily. The nasal bridge is generally low while the dorsum is typically flat and somewhat wide. Also, the tip of nose often has a bulbous appearance.
